Playing outside and fun at the museum

A typical day around the Hoffart household involves Wyatt playing baseball. If we are inside, he plays pretend baseball because he is no longer allowed to throw baseballs inside the house. If we are outside it is full on "batter, batter" as Wyatt calls it where he is either the batter or the pitcher. We have created a baseball monster!!

Wyatt will tell you the following about baseball:
*The pitcher throws the ball to the batter.
*The batter hits the ball then runs to first base. Then second base. Then third base. Then second base (we are working on this one!).
*The catcher wears a mask and throws the ball to the pitcher.
*The umpire wears a mask and calls balls and strikes.
*"I Hunter Pence"!! (my personal favorite)

He throws right handed.....
and bats left handed!!

And an important part of any baseball game is taking water breaks (in the bumbo).

G loves watching his brother play baseball - obviously.

He actually loves working on his neck muscles! Doesn't he look as if he is enjoying it?

Now for some fun at the museum - Jacob took Wyatt for some play time while G and I went to baby boot camp one morning. The boy sure does like to play at the museum. Check out all he does at the museum:

Grocery shopping

Cooking and doing dishes

Having a little snack

Washing the fire truck

Drawing

Sliding with an ice cream cone in hand (random)

Eating the (fake) ice cream cone while digging in the dirt - where does he come up with this stuff?

Fishing

And wrapping up with trip with some arts and crafts. Wyatt made this fabulous Easter bunny mask!
