Appointment day

Wednesday was doctor appointment day for the Hoffart boys. Wyatt had his 2 year appointment and Garrett had his 2 month appointment (even though he was actually 7 weeks). Wyatt weighed in at 28 lbs 3 oz (53%) and is 35.25" tall (73%). He was a busy boy in the doctor's office - not a big surprise at all. He got one shot - hepatitis A - whimpered briefly then was good to go when he realized he had a cool band aid on his leg. We have one healthy and active 2 year old! Garrett weighed in at 12 lbs 12 oz. (87%) and is 23" tall (69%). Needless to say we have a chunky monkey on our hands! Jacob and I both predicted he would be 13 lbs so we were pretty darn close. Garrett got 3 shots and screamed pretty loudly as soon as he got them but settled down very quickly once he was in his momma's arms. Just as a comparison, Wyatt weighed 11 lbs at 7 weeks and was also 23" tall. Crazy to me how much bigger Garrett is than Wyatt - having a little boy with rolls is a change for us! But we are embracing it and loving it - just need to make sure to clean under the rolls during bath time! Overall great doctor's visit. We love our pediatrician so its always a fun visit. Next up for Garrett is his 4 month appointment. Crazy to think that Wyatt doesn't have to go back for a year - wow!!
