Maroon& White Game + Egg Hunting

Saturday April 16th

The boys and I joined Papanah (how Wyatt says Papa and Mia) in College Station for the Maroon & White football game. We started off the day at the Letterman 's Luncheon for some pre-game BBQ. Wyatt was focused on eating.

And cutting his food - such concentration.

G soaked it all up and was a trooper!

We ran into Whit and Wave!!!

Time to watch some football. It was a gorgeous day in Aggieland and I wish Jacob could have been with us - he would have loved watching the scrimmage.

G's 1st trip to Kyle Field!! Mom said my first trip to Kyle Field was when I was 6 weeks old. G was 7 weeks old - close enough!

Wyatt paid attention to the game about 5% of the time. He did a lot of playing on the bleachers and walking up the stairs -not thinking this 2 year old will make an appearance to Kyle in the fall!

Lots of fun!! Time to head home for some Easter egg hunting.

Since we spent Easter with Jacob's family this year, my mom wanted Wyatt to hunt eggs at their house while we were in town. This was a non-nap afternoon due to all the activities we had going on. Always a risky move foregoing the nap!!

April made fun of him because he carried around his basket like a purse - poor buddy!!

Once he realized the eggs were loaded with money (or a penny!), he would stop and open each one of them and then put the penny in his pocket. The egg hunt lasted a little longer than it should have for that reason!

After hunting eggs, it was time to cool off with some watermelon - yummy!

We ended this VERY busy day with some Aggie baseball, which I have no pictures from - bad momma! We didn't stay very long at the game, both Hoffart boys were extremely tired and ready for bed. Can't blame them. We had a fun filled day in Aggieland!!!
