YAY for being 8 months old!!!

So, Wyatt's 8 month birthday was on Wednesday and I am just now getting around to posting about it - but the good thing is that these pictures were taken on his 8 month day! Good job mom : )

We are loving our 8 month old to pieces. He is just more fun than I would have ever thought and he does something new every single day. He is a professional bubble blower these days. Not so fun while eating and food flies every where but pretty darn cute.

He is a very happy baby and very active - the kid rarely sits still. He loves to play with his toys and of course he loves to play with his dogs - or let his dogs lick him all over! Some times with an open mouth which is totally gross but oh well.

He claps all the time and his favorite book right now is Barnyard Dance. When we walk into the nursery and he spots this book, he starts laughing and clapping. The first page of the book says "Stomp your feet, Clap your hands, Everybody ready for a barnyard dance." And he claps on cue most of the time - too precious. He also loves playing 'peek-a-boo' - he will hold a wash cloth or blanket above his head and we will say "where's Wyatt?" and then he throws his arms down and just smiles from ear to ear - priceless!!

I was told today that he is crawling at his baby sitter's house - which doesn't surprise me too much because she has carpet and we do not so the poor boy has zero traction at our house. He will get up on his hands and knees and then rock back and forth and then his legs will fly out from under him and he lands on his belly. Soon enough he will be all over the place so we are trying to savor these last few moments of a somewhat stationary baby!

This little fellow has brought us so much joy and happiness - he is truly a blessing from God!!! We love you Wyatt Aaron.
