Visiting the Big S.C.

Thursday was a "daddy daycare" day and I met Wyatt and Jacob up at the mall after school. We went to the mall the night before trying to see Mr. Claus himself but apparently he takes a break from 5-6pm and we didn't want to stand around waiting for an hour so we did a little shopping and ate some dinner. By the time we made our way back to see Santa, the line was long enough that I didn't think we would make it before we had a fussy, tired little Wyatt . So Thursday was our second attempt!! Jacob got the little guy all bundled up to make the trip to the mall. This would be his new "ski" (Colorado) jacket and Jacob said he was cracking up while trying to load him up in his car seat - apparently he wore the jacket in the car : ) Gotta love daddy daycare!




The line was nice and short and Wyatt was in a great mood for our first Santa experience. We kind of thought he might start crying when we handed him to Santa because he has started to cry when we try to hand him to others that he doesn't know too well. But no tears!!! Santa asked Jacob if he would be interested in his beard and Jacob responded by saying yes he will probably pull on it. Santa said will he touch it or pull on it and Jacob said he will pull it - so notice how Santa is holding Wyatt's left hand! Despite the fact that he looks a bit scared in this picture, he was actually very happy. He would look up at Santa and smile and then when we would call his name and squeak the toy, he would give us this puzzled look. But at least he didn't cry, right?!!!
