Family Birthday Celebration

My extended family is EXTREMELY close - we do almost everything together just like an immediate family would. And we celebrate birthdays together pretty much quarterly - we tend to group birthdays together. So, this past Sunday we met together at the Los Cucos at Willowbrook Mall for our December and January Birthdays - we included our lone February birthday boy this time around but he wasn't too keen on already celebrating his birthday so I am thinking from here on out he will get his own party! Who can blame the almost 88 year old man!!

Here are the birthday boys and girl! From left to right......my cousin Jonathan (Jan. 5th), my aunt Mary (Dec. 12th), my granddad Dean (Feb. 26th), my dad (excuse his moustache hopefully he will shave it when his grandson arrives - Jan. 7th) and my adorable husband Jacob (Dec. 21st). We actually were missing two family members that fall into this group - my cousins Brooke (Dec. 7th) and Zach (Jan. 2nd). They unfortunately were not able to make it due to the fact they live in Virginia but we missed them dearly. We all really hope they move back to Texas soon so they can join in all the family fun celebrations!

Wyatt gave his daddy the diaper bag backpack that Jacob registered for as well as two adorable bibs that say something to the effect of "I love my daddy" and "My daddy loves me". I think he really liked it because he opened every single compartment and then put it on and wore it for a while. He is going to be such a good daddy! We will look past the comments of "So where does the kid go?" and "I have to take this to the grocery store?"

Next birthday celebration will be in May and then we do a BIG, HUGE August/September bash which is always a guaranteed good time :)
