January 5, 2014 - Final day at Mickey's House
My parents flight was suppose to leave early on Sunday, 1/5 (due to crazy storms up north, they were very delayed and didn't leave until much much later). Before they left for the airport, mom snapped a few pictures of the boys with their ducks that lived at our condo. Lots of feeding and lots of excitement with these ducks!
The Hoffart family spent our last day at Magic Kingdom and it was a fantastic day. The best weather we had all trip and the crowd level was much lower than previous days. We got to the park when it opened and left after lunch time. We then headed back to the condo to catch the Magical Express back to the airport. Once at the airport we experienced some fun times - our flight was extremely delayed which caused us to miss our connecting flight in Dallas to CS. Luckily my parents got in before us and drove from CS to DFW to pick us up and took us all back to CS. We arrived into CS around 4:00ish. Jacob and I put kids in beds at my parents house and then he and I drove on to our house because we both had to go to work! We were exhausted to say the least. Interesting way to end a wonderful trip but we were glad to be home safely and not stuck in Orlando overnight!
The following are all from my phone since my parents were off to the airport and didn't go to Magic Kingdom with us.
Fun story about being stuck in the airport: since our flight was delayed past dinner time, they gave us each $12.00 food vouchers (I think it was $12 might have been a little more or less, can't remember). We had already eaten dinner prior to this and if we didn't use them they would just go to waste so we bought drinks, candy, snacks and ice cream with it! Lots came home with us and has you can see the boys snacked and watched some movies while we waited : )
