December 2013 - Christmas

I am doing a super quick recap of the rest of December, including Christmas in this post.  Wy and Jacob returned from hunting in the afternoon on Dec. 21st - which so happens to be Jacob's birthday.  After a quick shower and unloading their stuff, we went to Aunt Stacy's house for Christmas with Jacob's mom's side of the family.  We celebrated Jacob's birthday:

and opened presents and did all that fun.  Then fast forward to Christmas Eve.  G was a little under the weather so he and I stayed home while Jacob and Wyatt went to Jacob's dad's side of the family for their Christmas fun.  Wy played with all the little cousins on that side of the family and then Santa made an appearance and gave the boys dragons!  So after J & Wy returned home, we took some Christmas Eve pictures in front of the tree with their new dragons - Stormfly and Meatlug!

Next morning, Christmas morning, we got the boys up at 5:00 am because Jacob had to go to work and we wanted to open presents with dad.  Yes we are officially crazy but oh well!!!

Few highlights from the Christmas present madness:  Santa left the boys some head lamps in their stocking!

And he left them all kinds of cool hunting toys from Cabelas!

Santa also brought Garrett a Planes bicycle (not pictured) and Wy/G a bow and arrow!!  Big stuff!!

M&P and Aunt April showed up mid-morning for breakfast and more presents!  We also went to the station that afternoon for a late lunch with all the firemen and their families.  Always a good time!!!  Needless to say I was exhausted at the end of the day : )

But the fun wasn't over, the next morning - December 26th - we went to my grandparents for my side of the family.  Whew!  What a busy busy busy Christmas break we had.  Not to mention just a few days later, we headed to Disney World!
