We arrived at the cabin just before lunch on Monday. We unpacked, ate lunch and got the kids settled in, then Jacob and I took a big fat nap while my parents played with Garrett (Wyatt took a big nap also!). After nap time we decided to walk down to the river and let the dogs swim. And by river I mean the Rio Grande that runs right through the middle of South Fork.
Papa Sam bought the boys a wagon so we had to take it out for a test drive! G seemed to really enjoy it!
We threw sticks for the dogs and let them run around and swim. Wyatt was very adventurous and made his way into the freezing cold Rio Grande. Not sure how (or why for that matter) he could stand the cold water.
Heading back to the cabin we convinced Wyatt to ride in the wagon. I think we told him he had to ride so that we could let his wet shoes and socks dry out!

At Garrett's 4 month appointment, Dr. R gave us the go ahead to start him on solids. What better place to try out rice cereal for the first time than Colorado! And how cute is the bib he is wearing?! Love it. If you can't read it, it says "star of mommy's blog" - PERFECT!
This is about as messy as he got. He did really well with the cereal and would get excited about the spoon coming towards his face before it was over with. So much fun!!
