Today we went for a mid-morning hike behind my parent's cabin. Our cabin backs to the National Forest so we just open the back door and start hiking! What a life!! All of us went on the hike - both my parents, all 4 Hoffarts and the 3 dogs we have with us! It was an adventure. We hiked up to a favorite spot and stopped for lunch before hiking down. Besides a little wind (well a lot of wind) it was a great hike!!
Nothing like hiking up a mountain in the altitude with an extra 20 pounds strapped on!

I didn't get any pictures from our picnic lunch because I was nursing but we had a nice lunch and once Wyatt started getting a little stir crazy we headed back down.
Before dinner tonight, Papa and Wyatt made homemade vanilla ice cream!! It was super yummy and Nicki (our next door neighbor) brought over some yummy brownies that she made - DELICIOUS!!!
