1st Birthday at the Zoo

Look who was all smiles when he woke up on his birthday!  Love that sweet face.  The Hoffarts headed to the zoo for the day and boy did we have fun.   

Get ready for picture over load!!!  And we are off....

 A Wyatt favorite - HIS turtle.

 G seemed to enjoy seeing the turtle also.

 Love this picture because this is what Wyatt does with every animal.  "Nook mommy" - finger pointing and all.  LOVE!

 Here we are checking out Wyatt's favorite attraction, the wart hogs!  Who would have thought the wart hogs would be his favorite.

Lots of pointing at the momma lions.

And this fella put on a show for us - chilling up on this little fort then he headed down the ladder.  That was sure fun to watch.

By the time we made it through the Africa  exhibit it was lunch time.  So we set up camp and ate lunch with the giraffes! 

Oh and the ostriches.

 G was also all about the pointing.

Wyatt insisted on riding the Merry-go-round.  So Jacob bought us a couple of tickets but when the time came to load up, he started crying like a baby and decided he didn't want to ride an animal.  Cool!  So we rode on the bench.  Good times.

 G checked out the giraffes some more while we rode the carousel.

I took this for Wyatt - he is very much into crocodiles right now.  Or is this an alligator?  Which ever it is, he loves it!

 Can't seem to get a family picture with small children looking at the camera. 

We tried to get a picture of the brothers.  Wyatt was being a grouchy 2 year old and refused to listen, look or smile.

Then we had a tackle moment.

So we tried some sitting pictures.  Little bit better.

There we go - all 4 at least looking at the camera!  Fantastic day spent at the zoo with my family celebrating G's 1st birthday.  Love my family!!!
