One away from ONE!!

My baby G turned 11 months old yesterday!!! Holy cow that just seems crazy to think about it. We have already started planning his 1st birthday party - CRAZY! Garrett is just more fun than words can express. He is SO happy and will give you the biggest 2-teeth smile ever! Oh how I love his smiles : ) Here are a few things about G at 11 months:

* Walking, walking and walking fast!! He started officially walking at 10 1/2 months at my grandparents house on a Monday when I was at school and Jacob was working. But the best part about it is that my 91 yr old grandfather witnessed G taking his first steps!

* Only has his bottom 2 teeth - but based on his nightly cries I am thinking some more are just about to pop up.

* Is a momma's boy through and through but LOVES his daddy to pieces and smiles from ear to ear when daddy walks in the room : )

* Very emotional and gets his feelings hurt easily - so sad but he will just cry and cry if you take something away from him, just flat hurts his feelings - kind of like his momma in this respect!

* Loves to "play" with big brother (more like destroy what big brother is playing with) and he also enjoys playing by himself.

* G is a good eater and decided during this last month that he was pretty much over baby food - only finger foods for this kid! Which in turn means we have entered messy eater stage - so fun!

* Not the best sleeper in the world and poor baby has to "cry it out" a lot : ( I think a lot of it right now has to do with teeth - please, please, please let it have to do with teeth!

* Bed time is around 8:00 pm and he does a really good job of sleeping until at least 7:30 am - even though he spends some time in between crying : (

* Loves to clap and dance - this little boy has some rhythm!!!

* Loves his baths and cries when I take him out - so sad!

* Dressing and diapering this kid is like a wrestling match - he is ALL OVER THE PLACE.
