Luke's birthday party

This afternoon we helped celebrate Luke's 1st birthday. The party was a lot of fun, Wyatt played hard and wore himself out, and Luke was the perfect little birthday boy! Such a fun party. Here are my party pics from today:

Wyatt having some lunch even though he totally stuffed his face at our house before the party - he needed lots of "bites" in between playing with all of Luke's toys.

And the reason why his hair looks the way it does in all of these pictures, which is WILD, was due to the fact he insisted on wearing his Aggie stocking hat to the party! Mom didn't think that one through very well.

When we first arrived, Luke was napping but woke up very happy and ready to party! Sweet birthday boy.
Lots of playing!

Collin enjoying the party!

My little guy went from one toy to the next as fast as he could. We had a few discussions on waiting his turn and why we don't take toys out of other kids hands - not sure that one made an impact though.

Time to blow out your candle, Luke. Love his face in this picture!

He loved his blue icing - he was so cute eating his cake. Lots of picture ops from this kid.

Chris, Kate and Luke - adorable little family!

Luke with his cousins, Allison and Claire - aka sweethearts!

Wyatt enjoyed himself a piece of cake also.
Heading up to take a birthday bath!

Right before we left for nap time, I wanted to get some pictures of the boys together. Check out Mr. Patient waiting for his picture to be taken!!

Wyatt, Cooper and Luke - 22 months, 17 months and 12 months - all 5 months apart. Clearly, Cooper was NOT happy at all to be taking pictures! And typical that Wyatt has a ball in his hands.
Wyatt said "Look Cooper I have a ball on my head, isn't that funny?"

Eli got added to the picture. Love how Wyatt is looking at Cooper and Luke. In my mind he is saying "Cooper, why are you crying so much? And Luke, why do you keep holding up your foot?"

Then we added Collin to the picture -Wyatt is still holding the ball, Cooper is still crying and Luke still has his foot in the air! Too funny.
This was Wyatt's attempt to give Luke a hug - didn't really work out how I thought it would.

Then he tried to give Luke a "high-five". Love Luke's expression and his foot is still in the air!
Baby bump picture with our boys!! I will be 37 weeks tomorrow and Kate will be 27 weeks tomorrow.

And April just took this picture of Wyatt watching Toy Story with his boots and pjs on. He has wanted to wear his boots ALL DAY LONG, and I am not exaggerating on this. I love it!!
Happy birthday Luke Harmon! We love you lots and so happy to be able to celebrate with you today.

Boots all day long included wearing them with play clothes (wind pants), wearing them to Luke's party, and INSISTING on wearing them after bath and pjs before bedtime! Silly boy! And soooooo much fun!
