South Fork held their 4th of July celebration on July 2nd this year. We started off the day with the parade.
Wyatt was very serious about gathering the thrown candy and putting it in his bag.
He would run out to the street, pick up and put the candy in his bag and then hustle back to where we were sitting. It was pretty darn cute.

And here are some of my favorite parade entries. South Fork did their annual duck race later on this afternoon. You can purchase a little rubber ducky and they race down the Rio Grande (or maybe this year they raced down the South Fork). This was the float advertising the race. Very cute in my opinion.

I don't remember what this float was about but I liked the children on the top of the school bus in the raft.

After the parade we headed over to the fire station for their annual catfish fry. It was pretty yummy and you can't help but support the local "help"!!
We worked off lunch at a little park then headed back to the cabin for nap time. Busy morning for our crew but a great morning!!
