W & G's 1st day of school

Wyatt's first day of school was Monday August 19th.  He is now in Pre-K and goes 3 days a week (M, T, TH).  He is loving school and some times is not ready to leave when I pick him up!  He has some best friends in class (Noah & Jackson) and most of the time his poor little bee lives on the yellow bee hive.  Ms. Teresa and Ms. Bailey are his teachers and one of their classroom management tools in place for behavior are 3 bee hives - green, yellow and red.  Each student has a little bee with their name on it and depending on their behavior, the bee will move from hive to hive.  Typical day for Wyatt is green bee hive to yellow bee hive and back to green by the end of the day.  We have ended the day on yellow a few times and he tells me "Mom, don't worry about it"!  Ha!!!  Yay right.  Your mother is a teacher, don't be telling me what to worry about.  Silly kid!

Jacob was getting off work this morning so when he got home we took 2 cars to drop off Wy because I then had to head to my school for my first day of inservice.  Lots of excitement!!!

Checking out all the other names in his class.  He knew many of the kids from last year which made the beginning of this school year that much easier than last year.  

This year they started serving breakfast to those that arrive between 6:30-8:00 am.  I put this picture on here because my poor baby G did not want Wy to sit down!!  He was sad for a few minutes but then was fine once he realized that he got to spend the day with daddy!

And as I mentioned G left with Jacob and their first stop was donuts for breakfast!  Special little treat for little G.  I think he was excited to be there!

Garrett's first day of school was Tuesday August 20th.  He was totally fine until we actually walked in his classroom and he then realized I was about to leave him.  Major tears.  Major tears every single day : (  But he is fine and dandy when I pick him up.  Ugh!  His teacher this year is Ms. Cole and he is now in the Frogs class.  G goes 2 days a week (T/TH) and I think once I leave and he settles down, he really enjoys himself.  Little stinker!  In a perfect world, G would stay home and play toys all day long!  But how cute are these pictures of him showing off his cubby?!?

Yes we wore a frog shirt on the first day in honor of being in the Frogs class.  I am a nerd!!
