First stop was to see the dolphins.
Sadly we didn't get to touch one : (
Next stop was the sharks and reef exhibit (which was inside!).
Since this trip was over a month ago (almost 2 months ago) I can't remember the names of the shows but the first one we saw was something along the lines of One Ocean?? The boys were excited to see Shamu for sure!
Right after the show, Jacob and Wyatt rode this ride (below) - drawing a huge blank on the name. Wyatt ended up riding this twice, once with Jacob and once with me even though he claimed he did not like it at all.
Jacob is wearing the yellow shirt and little Wy is right next to him.
Sad, the tattoo'ed man's giant arm is covering my little Wyatt's face.
You can't see his face but I am sure he is NOT smiling!
Not a fan of this ride....but never really made much noise about it either way.
Next show was the sea lion show - it was super cute and entertaining!
This large guy below was doing sit ups!! Ha!!
After the show we saw the rest of the sea lions and seals and this little baby was talking to G!
Some more walking around lead us to the penguin exhibit which was stinky stinky. Gotta lover the 4 year old that wants nothing to do with the penguins! G wanted to take this picture but didn't want me to put him down. They look hot and tired, don't they?
My turn to ride the big ride with Wyatt!!! 3rd row back on the far left.
Little Shamu Express action! He liked this one much better.
G really wanted to do the merry-go-round and Wyatt proudly said he was sit on the bench. Not sure why he won't sit on an animal. We have only done a merry-go-round a few times and he always wants to sit on the bench. Strange!
The little kid area at SeaWorld, Elmo's Play and Bay or something like that, is great for the little ones. Splash pad and tons of little rides. Just a shame it was SOOOO dang hot.
Back to the sea lions for another one of their shows. This one was new and was kind of like a day in the life of a Sea World goer. It was really cute.
We were trying to stall before the last show of the night, the rock and roll Shamu show (again, not sure of the official name). So we went back to the Elmo's area and did another ride or 2.
Then it was 8:20 and time for the last show of the night. We sat in the splash zone and G and Jacob took a huge, direct hit from Shamu and one of his friends. G was not super excited about getting soaking wet!
One our way out, as promised from the beginning of the day, we stopped by the gift shop and made some purchases!!! Tired, happy and wet little boys!!
And the long, quiet ride back to the Merrill house that we were expecting to have turned out to be a loud ride with tons of questions from the back seat about everything we saw that day, etc. Crazy kids!!
