Play Date on the Fly

Today's play date was to be held at our favorite park, Lily Pad Splash Park.  However, we all showed up only to find out that it was out of service : (  I was sad even though the kids didn't seem to mind!

My boys were very excited to see Kody.

So this is where the "on the fly" comes into play.  We decide to head to a splash pad in the back of TW.  We all load up in our respective cars and caravan away.  Then a few miles down the road, the down pour begins!  Kate, who is leading the caravan, pulls into the Kroger parking lot and we decide to abort the current plan and just head to her house to play.  Sounds good!  We u-turn and head to the Nors casa.  The sun comes out and since all the kids were still in their swimsuits, so do the baby pools!!  Super fun!  At this point we have 7 boys and 1 girl : ) (We lost 2 boys in transition.)

Not sure if I should say poor Jane or lucky Jane for being around so many boys!

This particular shove resulted in Owen flying out of the pool and Wyatt in timeout.

After playing outside for a while, we decide to take the party inside for some snacks/lunch and a movie.

 Wyatt and Jane had a movie dinner date!  Ha!!

Then it was time for all of us to part ways for the day.  All the boys went into full hugging mode.  They were all hugging each other good-bye and it was beyond precious.
