Yesterday morning after breakfast we set this little blow up pool/slide thingy (can't remember the name of it). I had bought this last spring after G was born and we set it up a time or two at the old house before we moved. I thought it would be fun to get it back out and let the boys play. They both LOVED it!!
Side note about yesterday's naps: The boys didn't wake up until 9 am so I was thinking that G could skip his morning nap (I was also trying to keep him up so he could play with Jacob). But that plan didn't really work out and G was most definitely needing a morning nap. However, the morning nap occurred just before noon - oops! So while he was napping, Wyatt was getting lots of fun play time. Then Wyatt was ready for his afternoon nap just shortly after 2. G woke up from his very long (random) mid-day nap around 3:30. So then G had his own personal play time while big brother napped! It was fun getting that one-on-one time with each of them - doesn't happen too often so we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Wyatt having fun in the sun!!
Can we say "water gun obsession"? Geez!!! Thank goodness daddy was home yesterday to play water guns with Wyatt!
Now Wyatt is napping and G is playing. This kid has a small obsession with the gator. Good thing his legs aren't long enough to push the pedal or we would be in trouble! He loves riding in the gator with his brother and he loves just sitting on it as well.
Playing in the bird bath. Mia had just filled it up for the birds and little guy made a bee-line to play in the water. Silly kid!
Sweet little boy looking for birds (below) - peeking through the window of the fort.
Playing peek-a-boo with Mia.
Chasing bubbles! Always a fun activity.
"Hey give me that. I wanna blow bubbles."
And running off to do who knows what!
Now they are both up and playing! Gator ride around the property looking for bugs - another post to address Wyatt and his bug catching! Actually I think in the picture below he was looking for bunnies. We saw a bunny hopping around Saturday night in this exact location.
Driving slowly in hopes not to scare the bunny.
Sweet boys smiling at Mia!
Back to the water.
After dinner, we loaded up for a walk down the street.
Loved this picture. I wish I could remember what they were talking about.
G loves himself a wagon ride!! Put this kid in the wagon and he is Mr. Relaxed : )
We walked down the street to the neighbor's house to check out their pond. We did this one night last weekend and Wyatt was able to feed the fish. This was the exact location that he fed the fish from so he immediately ran to the steps and was looking for fish.
This picture should have been before the previous picture....our view walking from my parents' house to the neighbors. Hello Kyle Field and all of campus! Not a bad view!
Crazy kid running around the pond.
"Mommy, wait to me" as we were walking back home. Love how he says "wait TO me". Time for baths and bed time now!!!
