Garrett's 1st week

Here are some pictures from Garrett's 1st week and a busy week it has been. Not to mention the fact that we are adjusting to being a family of 4 and having a sick daddy, we put our house on the market one week and a day after Garrett was born. Yes, we are crazy!!!

We took G to the doctor on Tuesday, March 1st. He weighed 7 lbs 9 oz and measured 20 inches long. He had put on 4 oz. since leaving the hospital. Good job G!! Dr. R checked him out and was super excited about G and kept saying he looked sooooo good! Love Dr. R : )

Anyway, back to our 1st week with this little precious bundle of joy.......

1st bath at home - LOTS and LOTS of screaming and crying. I am desperately waiting for his cord to fall off so we can put him in the little bath tub. Hopefully he will like that better.
So frustrating that this picture didn't rotate - ugh! Oh and this precious baby has a serious set of lungs on him!
Look at this happy, clean little boy. Hehe!

Big brother has been all over the "bebe" apparatus. We found him in the moses basket the other day. Shortly after this picture he fell backwards and bonked his head pretty good.

Enjoying the swing! So far he seems to like the swing way more than Wyatt ever did. He has taken a few naps in the swing which I consider a success based on our experience with Wyatt and the swing.

Catching some ZZZZZs - adorable!

Big brother in the bouncy chair. He does this A LOT.

Hanging out in his crib - I think I was doing laundry or something and needed a place for him to chill while I was busy. He seemed to like it for all of 5 minutes!

Lots of kisses from the big brother - notice how G is screaming bloody murder.

Again super irritated this picture didn't rotate - I love his hands in this picture!
Great 1st week - bring on week #2!!

The pics of Wyatt in the baby gear sure brings back memories. Braden was 2 when our Garrett was born, and he was all about wanting in the bouncy seat, the swing, the bassinet. Oh, it seems like yesterday!
