Jacob and I both took off work for Wyatt's birthday so we could spend the entire day together as a family - awwwww how sweet?! Wyatt and I first went to stroller fit to get in a good birthday workout.
Little unsure about wearing his birthday hat, Wyatt is showing off his birthday present from us. Even though he has been playing with this toy for the past month - he doesn't know the difference : )
We then headed over to Nana's house so we could do some last minute setting up for the big party - which occurred the following day and will be documented in depth in the next post. Nana wanted to make a balloon arch so I helped her blow up about 200 balloons. Wyatt was in heaven! Notice his Cheeto face - he had some birthday Cheeto balls - yummy!
Wyatt has a brief message for his Tia. "Tia, check out all of these balloons!!!"

Next stop - - downtown Houston - Minute Maid Park!!! Wyatt and daddy walking towards the ball park. I have a picture very similar to this from last season!!

Family picture before entering the ballpark. In case you are wondering what is wrong with Jacob's leg - its just a softball injury. Diving for a ball in the outfield can be dangerous and extremely gross.

We had dinner at Five-Seven ( I think that is what it is called). It was okay - nothing to write home about. Wyatt enjoyed himself though eating and coloring and throwing stuff off the table!

Now to our seats before the game. We were fully prepared to only stay a few innings - we knew this baseball season would not be near as enjoyable as last year. No more sitting in our seats holding a precious, sleeping baby. Luckily for us there weren't that many people there and we were able to spread out and let the 1 year old roam between the two of us.

So much for the little guy to look at and take in.

Notice he can barely sit still for a picture : )

I love Wyatt's face - seriously, don't smile Wyatt.

He was so excited to see Junction Jack.

All smiles for Junction Jack.
And even waving at Junction Jack!

We thought it would be fun to put him in seat #1 but we couldn't get him to smile for a picture - go figure.

He did A LOT of clapping. Of course he had no idea what he was clapping at but as soon as he heard the crowd start clapping, he immediately started clapping.
