Wyatt had his 4 month appointment today (Aug. 3rd) even though we are a few days away from his actual 4 month birthday. He weighed in at 14 pounds and 14 ounces (58th percentile) and is 26.5 inches long (95th percentile). Mr. Long & Lean - we have no clue where he is getting this from! Here is a brief recap of his appointment.....
*Peed all over the scale after getting weighed : )
* Peed on our pediatrician when she took off his diaper
*Smiled and coo'ed at our pediatrician - super flirty!
*Mom left the room when the nurse came in to give Wyatt his shots - I had a phone call I needed to take! (Don't worry, Jacob was in the room with him)
* Slight whimper from Wyatt with first shot, then big cry with second shot.
*Mom was distracted so no crying for her - huge accomplishment!
*He was hungry-mungry after his shots and then passed out and took a big, fat nap.
*We received clearance to start trying rice cereal and then fruits and veggies - let the fun begin!
Overall, great appointment and we haven't decided yet when we are going to start solids but there will be lots of pictures to share when the time comes!!!
