FBC Conroe Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday morning we hunted eggs with our church in Conroe. M&P and Aunt April drove over to watch the fun and fortunately Mia brought her camera to capture the Hoffart boys hunting eggs. This was their 3rd hunt of the season so they knew the drill and were ready to go. My poor sweet G started running a fever Friday night and threw up 4 times that night. He was really happy and ready to go up until it was time for his age group to start hunting. He was extremely warm and tired and needed his momma and a nap. But we pushed through and managed to hunt lots of eggs!!!
Poor guy wasn't feeling good at all. Rosy red cheeks and all!Our church had 3 divisions: 0-2, 2-4 and then k-3 (maybe). G & Wy's age group were at the same time and we totally missed the 3-4 hunt so Wy and his buddy Tyler hunted eggs with the big kids! Here they are running down hill to all the eggs!
The first egg he got to he immediately opened and we were all screaming "Don't open the eggs! Keep going and open them later". Silly kid.
Happy boys with this full baskets! So glad we got to hang out with Tyler and his parents!!!
After the church egg hunt we headed to Nana's house for lunch and more egg hunting. The bluebonnets at Nana's house are GORGEOUS! Poor little G was napping when I took most of these pictures of Wy in the bluebonnets.
What happened to my little boy?! He looks so grown up in these pictures : ( So handsome though!
G finally woke up and joined the fun running through the bluebonnets. Below are 5 of Nana's grandkids - recent addition: Penny!
G trying to smile and look happy! Poor guy was a sick little mess all day.
Attempt at a few family pictues. Not sure why Jacob's face looks so red.
And I wish someone had told me my hair looked disgusting! Oh well. Documenting the day for memories.
Sibling picture - Jacob, Stacey and Jared. I told the boys to suck in! Ha!!
Time to hunt eggs!!! Nana had just given these glasses to G and he wanted to wear them to hung eggs.
There are the eggs, over there!
Ready, set, go! These eggs were filled with money honey. And these boys were motivated!
2 sucessful egg hunts and a great day spent with family! Happy to report that G's fever broke that night and he is feeling much better now. Still wants mommy to hold him but that's ok!
