Spring Break 2013

We are in Colorado for SB '13!!  We left Saturday at 2:00 pm from our house, spent the night in Portales, New Mexico and then arrived at the cabin around 3:00 pm Sunday afternoon.  17 hours in the car with 2 small children!!!  It really wasn't all that bad and they did extremely well considering the length of the trip.  So today was our first official day of playing in the snow.  And a busy day it was - snow angels, sledding, feeding the deer, throwing snow balls, and making a snowman.  Lots of fun and we have 2 tired little boys this evening.

G wasn't super sold on sledding and really could have taken a morning nap if we had let him.  Daddy did get him to sled a few times.

This picture was taken right before Wy &  I wiped out.  Ooops!  He cried only for a few short minutes and then he was ready to go again.  After this he only wanted to sled with dad - can't say I blame him.

Second attempt.

Jacob got in a little workout today!  He pulled Wy up the sledding run many many times.

Up until this point Wyatt had only sled with me or Jacob.  As Jacob was pulling him up the hill, he told Wyatt he needed to work on the sled and he needed to hold the rope.  Jacob then turned the sled around and sent Wyatt down the hill by himself!!!

He was not happy once he got off the sled.  Hands on hips - really?!  Ha!!

Then he warmed up to the idea of going down by himself.  Such the big boy!

Awwww!!  The couple that sleds together, stays together right?!

Back at the top, the boys made snow balls with Papa.  The snowball maker has been the biggest hit so far, well that and the snow!

Back to the cabin for lunch and rest time!!
