92 never looked this good!!!

This past Sunday (Feb. 24th) almost my entire family gathered at Casey's in Galveston to celebrate my grandfather's 92nd birthday!!!  This is where I need to mention that in the near future there is going to be some serious blog updating because G's 2nd birthday was on Saturday and we had some serious family fun on Saturday and Sunday!  Lots and lots to blog about!!  More to come on that.  But back to Granddad's birthday.....so here we are after lunch on the seawall.  It was a bit windy and overcast but considering the size of the group and the age difference (92-2), I think we did a great job getting a good family picture!!!

And this was us at lunch.  Granddad picked the spot and we all met around 11:30.  We had a great lunch followed by some yummy dessert for the birthday boys.

G would get icing on his finger and then try to get Granddad to lick it off, but he would pull his hand back last minute!  And he thought he was soooo funny : )

 Mom wanted to get a picture of G's candle so we staged another cupcake.

Then G wanted us to sing to him again while he sang also!  We did it about 3 times.  It was super cute and he was loving all the attention.

 You can't tell in this picture below but the candle is lit! 

Getting lots of good practice in before his birthday party.  And gotta love that filthy shirt covered in chocolate and ketchup and who knows what else!
