2 years old!!!

Saturday February 23rd

Our little G turned 2 on Saturday - holy cow!!!  And as I am typing this I just noticed he is wearing (well they both are for that matter) Christmas pjs in the pictures below.  Oops!  Oh well!  We started off the day with a yummy breakfast that daddy made for us.  G got a special pancake:
And Wy requested one also, even though he doesn't turn 4 for another month (please let's not rush time!).
After breakfast we loaded up for G's birthday adventure!!  Our first stop was the Houston Children's Museum.  The boys had been before with M&P but this was our first time (Jacob and myself).  Holy cow this place sure does have a lot of cool stuff to do!  I took a ton of pictures and only tried to include some of the highlights.  Lots of fun!!!
The scratches on his face were from an "incident" at school on Thursday when he and another little one had a disagreement about a toy!  His teacher told me he is usually so quiet but when the little boy grabbed his toy, he was no longer quiet.  Guess that comes with the territory of having an older brother!

Wyatt was very insistent on visiting the vet clinic and was actually quite grouchy until we finally found it.  Dr. Hoffart immediately went to work on the animals!

And the bump on his forehead happened as we were walking into the museum.  Jacob opened the door for us and Wy had turned his head and wasn't paying attention and the door got him.  Ouch!

Then we hit up HEB for a little grocery shopping.  The green markings on his face are his attempt at face painting!  I thought it was too cute so left it on until later on in the day!

Apparently there was a sale on fish!
Getting ready to check out.  Everyone say "cheese"!
Driving in the police car!
Mr. G acting like the dispatcher.
We eventually made our way outside and made some animal tracks in the sand.

I was trying to get G to hold up 2 fingers in the picture below but instead he gave me a double Gig'em!  That will work!!

This little chick had just hatched today!  Birthday buddies!!
After a picnic lunch outside we made our way back inside for some science exploration - something with molecules I think!

This picture cracks me up!  He layed on the ground next to this pig and talked to it.  Too funny!
Phone call with the big brother : )
Downstairs we found a really cool obstacle course that Wyatt loved and tried some rock climbing.
Wyatt was not a fan of rock climbing.
Then before we left we made one more stop to see the chickens and their eggs (Wy's request).  Well, while Wyatt was playing with the chickens and eggs, G found this boat and went fishing.  Wyatt very quickly realized he wanted to fish also and joined little G.  This was the last thing we did at the museum before leaving so the entire time in the car after leaving, Wy said "next time we go to the big, big, big museum, I need to go fishing in the boat and catch all the fish and crabs and shrimp".  Ok buddy!  Got it!!!

Next post will be our next stop on the birthday advenutre!  Let's just say we got on I-45 and headed south!!
