A day in the life of the Hoffart boys

Wednesday was a DDC day and the boys went to the public library for story time and a visit with Santa. I sent my new camera with Jacob and the story he tells about the event is pretty funny. He said he had his hands full when it came time to see Santa: Wyatt froze up and wouldn't move, Garrett started screaming and Jacob was trying to get my camera out to get some pictures. He said another mom picked up Wyatt and carried him over to Santa and then he asked someone else for help with the camera. The response from the mom was "it might help if you took the lens cover off!" Love it. He said he was sweating bullets : ) Makes me smile just thinking about it. He did a great job snapping a few pictures even though he wasn't happy with the ones he took. Hey, I am just glad he took a few so I could see what they did. He did say Wyatt kept his face down the entire time he was sitting on Santa's lap!

Not sure if the following pics are before or after Santa but they are pretty cute and I love how G has his leg propped up on the table!!! And of course the John Deere boots : )

Not sure what Wy is munching on, maybe a candy cane.

And they enjoyed some cookies and punch.

Wyatt came home with 6 books he checked out from the library - he was very excited!

Dinner time last night was super yummy. Daddy made us taco salad which was enjoyed by all - G really enjoyed some of the beans! He was so messy last night that I couldn't resist taking a few pictures of him. Love him.

And this guy was cracking himself up and wanted his picture taken - didn't know the new camera had such magic!

And after baths and more play time, we put G down for the night and put our advent ornament on the tree - the Lion and the Lamb - Wy has been waiting patiently for that particular ornament! It's fun to have some special alone time with Wyatt after G goes to bed. Even when he is quite hyper and putting on my sports bra and G's bib!! Never a dull moment with this guy....

Thanks and Gig'em!!
