Saturday morning started off with some playing outside. When you have has much energy as this little bundle of joy, you need hours of outside play time!!
This is his "what can I do now" look. No real plan other than moving very fast from point A to point B.
This was funny! My parents and I were sitting in the backyard while Wy was playing in the breezeway. He was very quiet but I could tell he was playing with the terracotta pots. Come to find out he wasn't just playing with them, he was stacking them in one nice big tall stack. I am constantly amazed at everything his little mind tells him to do!
After a short nap and some lunch, we headed to Spence park to meet up with daddy and his friends for a little pre-game tailgating.
So what all did Wy do at his first tailgate of the season?
He watched bigger boys throw a football back and forth - did some clapping and I think he wanted to join them!
Visited the Parson's Mounted Calvary horses and by visited I mean wanted to see and talk about each and every horse. He didn't want to pet them he just wanted to see all of them.
He watched the Aggie Band march in - twice! Once during the spirit walk and then the other during the Corps march in. Check out those eyebrows!
He cheered for Aggie head coach Mike Sherman.
Wy gave many "high-fives" to the football players. He loved it!! Big smiles : )
He watched the Corps march in and saw Miss Reveille. Isn't she just gorgeous?!
We thought he might want to take a picture with Reveille since he is obsessed with dogs but clearly he didn't know what to think about the whole situation! Priceless.
Back to the tailgate, Wy played some dominoes with Billy. Isn't that part of being an Aggie? Knowing how to play some 'bones'?! He is pretty much ready for the Chicken. Well, maybe not for another 25 years!
It wouldn't be a tailgate with out playing washers!
Billy is going to make a great father - in just 2 short months!!
Wy helped daddy pull around the wagon. His daddy called it some early football training. Whatever.
His own little game of washers. His daddy would hand him a washer and then he would bend down and put it in the hole. Love it.
This game went on for quite a while.
And what's wrong with just hanging out in the wagon?

And one last super cute thing for the weekend.....Wy would get himself all set up in this little rocking chair and 'read' Thomas the tank engine books out loud. Absolutely precious!!! Well in the first picture he was cheering while watching a baseball game - can't remember who was playing. The Yankees and someone.

Sunday & Monday we did a lot of relaxing at my parents house before heading back to TW.
Wy enjoyed a Popsicle and I tried to get a picture of how messy he was afterwards but I don't think this picture did his mess any justice. He was so cute all messy!

Even though we had a nice long Labor day weekend, I am absolutely exhausted!! Being pregnant with an incredibly active toddler is not an easy job!!!
