Oct. 31st Part 2: Aggie Football vs. Iowa St.

(April here) 3 Todds & 2 Hoffarts went to the A&M vs. Iowa State football game at Kyle Field. The weather couldn't have been better. The temperature was perfect, it was nice and sunny, and Wyatt improved his record to 2-0 after A&M beat the Cyclones. We walked from my house to campus and made a stop to visit Parson's Mounted Cavalry's horses. Here Wyatt poses with a horse (didn't catch the name) after the horse gave a couple of kissies. Wyatt wasn't scared but just stared and tried to figure out what they were and why he doesn't have one at home!
Here the Cav is making their entrance into Kyle for march-in. Wyatt is paying very close attention, and Emily and I were noticing the 4 girls in the Cav...interesting.

Here they come - the pulse of Aggieland. Wyatt was a little distracted by who knows what.

I had them stand out in the street to try to get a good picture of Wyatt actually looking. I was unsuccessful as you can see. Emily was getting very nervous about being out in the street. Here she's saying (while smiling) "HURRY!"

This is my awesome photography at work. The colors pass, Wyatt made sure everyone had removed their hats and was standing.

Silly boy! Wyatt had a good time watching march-in, hearing the band, and seeing all the young'ins in the Corps.

In between march-in and the game Wyatt attended his first Aggie tailgate party! He enjoyed a fajita and a beer. Actually he had some sweet potatoes and cereal.

We sang the National Anthem, watched the F-16 fly-over, then Texas Our Texas. Wyatt clapped! He was very impressed with the pre-game festivities. This was after a quick outfit change...he needed to get into his athletic shorts and t-shirt. He takes being a 12th Man very seriously...he must be ready at all times.

Like I said, it was very sunny. This called for a hat to help shade the little man's face!

Wyatt totally turned his hat like this on his own. Then proceeded to throw some gang signs. He was in the Halloween spirit and needed to be in costume and character.

The next few pictures are from where we spent the rest of the game (from about the 2nd quarter on). Behind the bleachers there is a big grassy area where you can lay around and watch the game on the big BIG screen! There are also a lot of kids that like to run around and play football. Wyatt isn't quite old enough to run around and play, so he hung out with Papa Sam and explored the grass.

He loves the grass.

He dug his little fingers in and pulled up handfuls of grass. He even had dirt under his fingernails.
