Since the boys only go to school T/Th, I decided to take off the day yesterday so we could attend their little fall festival and class room party. Jacob was off yesterday also so it was a family affair! It took Wyatt a really long time to warm up and leave my side (he has become quite the momma's boy as of late, even though he was already one, its even worse now). After doing some fall activities in the gym, the kids headed back to their classroom for a few games - pin the nose on the jack-o-lantern and then mummy wrap where they wrapped their partner with toilet paper. After about 5 minutes of the kids trying to wrap their partners, it just became a toilet paper party and they all started wrapping Jacob and then throwing toilet paper everywhere! It was hysterical and they were having the best time ever!!! And it was so easy to clean up : )
Before eating lunch, they headed out to the playground to burn off a little more energy and then it was back inside for their special Halloween lunch brought by the kids. I loved being there watching them do their daily activities and also watching Wy interact with the other kids. I told Jacob last night that if his teachers saw him outside of school they would think it was a totally different kid - he is quiet and reserved and stands back and watches the others......totally NOT the Wyatt we have at home with his brother and his friends!!! Very interesting!!
Oh and G hung with us today because I knew he would totally lose it if I tried to take him to his room plus it was more fun for him to do all the big kid stuff with his brother. He just joined in on lunch with the rest of them! No surprise there!!
Although the day started off rough, we ended on a very high note and had 2 happy boys when we left school after lunch time!!! Headed to the house for pre-trick or treating naps!
