Last Wednesday (Sept. 26th), M&P took the boys to Pearland for the day to visit my grandparents. The boys love going to G&G's house mainly because of all the toys! And my Granddad's gorgeous yard is pretty fun to play in also. Who doesn't love pictures of boys playing?!
In Wy's bedroom, he has a John Deere frame with a picture of him on this yellow tractor in it. My mom said that he came running out of his room that morning holding the frame saying he wanted to go play with the yellow tractor! The boy is a smart cookie : ) I think its safe to say they both love the yellow tractor.
Back at our house after I got home from school and M&P were loading up to leave. Wyatt wanted to show off his bike riding skills! This is the bike that Santa brought him for Christmas last year and he is just now wanting to ride it. One thing is true about Wyatt, he will do stuff when he is good and ready and there is no pushing him into doing something (potty training, bike riding, really anything!). So the day before he decided he wanted to ride his big boy bike and off he went! He rode his bike to and from the mail box, which is at the front of our neighborhood. Can we say "hard headed"?!
And there is constant dialog while riding the bike. Non-stop talking about anything and everything. "Mom, you have to wait on me and we have to slow down." "Dad, you need to pay attention and walk next to me." "MOM, we have to go slow and look both ways for traffic." "I am riding my bike and my training wheels are doing pretty good." "It's getting dark we need to head back. There are some dark clouds and it is going to rain. We need to hurry back before the storm comes." Just lots and lots and lots of talking!
